MIOptions

MIOptions is a new project in the State of Michigan that combines two programs:

  • Person-Centered Options Counseling
  • State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) for Medicare beneficiaries (formerly known as "MMAP")

SHIP Counselors are available to assist Medicare beneficiaries in understanding coverage, costs, and plans. We work with SHIP partner sites across both Branch and St. Joseph Counties. Call us to schedule an appointment by phone, online, or in person.

Options Counselors are available at the Area Agency on Aging (IIIC) to assist anyone seeking information about long-term supports and services. Options Counselors can support individuals with disabilities over the age of 18, older adults, caregivers, and advocates. Call us to schedule an appointment by phone, online, or in person.
