Communicable diseases are those which can be easily transmitted from one person to another. Although many communicable diseases such as measles and polio are rarely seen today because of successful childhood vaccination programs, many communicable diseases still exist.
Communicable Disease section of the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is responsible for the identification, education, treatment and follow-up of diseases.
