SAFE-KIDS
Safe Kids Coalition
Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph County is dedicated
to reduce death and injury to children ages
14 years and under by empowering families and
community through education, collaboration and
advocacy.
Our coalition is led by the
Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health
Agency.
Coalition members include:
law enforcement officers, emergency responders,
nurses, teachers, business members, human
services agency members, law makers, parents,
grandparents, volunteers and retirees.
The local coalition is part
of Safe Kids USA and Safe Kids Worldwide, a
global nonprofit organization dedicated solely
to prevention of unintentional injury. It was
launched in 1987.
Safe Kids’ programs reach
families directly with injury prevention
messages. These programs are research-based and
include: education, advocacy and distribution of
safety devices.

Certification Class

Distracted Driving

Kids Safety Day

Project SLIC (saving the
lives of infant and children) A car seat
education and distribution program for
income eligible families.
