Changes as of October 1, 2018
Parents and caregivers must show either a referral form from a caseworker providing social services indicating the need for a free car seat or proof of current enrollment in one of the qualifying programs for the child receiving the seat. Caregivers must also sign and submit the qualifying program's cover memo to the technician during the seat check.
