social, educational, and volunteer opportunities
to older adults in St. Joseph County. (Please see

Home Delivered & Congregate
meals - Hot noon time meals served at a community
site or delivered to a homebound client’s home.
Seniors may also participate in the Congregate
restaurant program. The program allows
seniors to receive congregate meals at
participating restaurants. Sack lunches, breakfasts, and frozen meals are
also available. Liquid nutrition supplements are
available as prescribed by a physician. All meals
are sodium restricted, contain at least 1/3 of the
recommended dietary allowances for seniors, and
follow the USDA Food Guide Pyramid.
